GENERAL RULES
ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES
Check In time is between 1 and 5 pm, or let the office know if you are going to be a late arrival. All visitors MUST register at the office upon arrival. Check Out time is by 12:00 p.m. If you wish to extend your stay, please contact the office between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., extending your stay is conditional upon availability.
GATE
The gate is closed at all times. A gate card will be issued to you to allow access to the resort. Please return the gate card to avoid being charged a $50.00 fee.
NO WASHING OF RIGS
No washing of rigs using city water, no y connections on city water. A rig washing service is available through front office.
CARE OF LOTS AND UNITS
Renters must maintain their lot in a clean and attractive manner at all times. Items may not be stored beneath any recreational vehicle, which may be seen from another lot or the road. Please keep units clean and free of dirt and mold build-up. If it is necessary for Silver Palms to clean the unit, there will be a charge of $100 per hour. Renter is responsible for any damage to their unit, site or facilities. No items are to be left onsite.
GUESTS:
All guests must register in the office BEFORE or at their arrival. All guests must be registered regardless of their length of stay. Each guest will be issued a "Visitor Tag" If your guest will be staying overnight, they must reside in your RV with you. It is the resident's responsibility to see that your guests respect all of Silver Palms rules and regulations
REPAIRS
No vehicle repairs are to be done in the resort. This includes oil or tire changes.
YARD SALES
There are to be NO yard sales except as scheduled through the activities office.
TENANTS
Silver Palms reserves the right to evict any tenant whom it deems unsuitable or incompatible with other residents.
SIGNS
NO signs are to be placed or displayed on any lot or dwelling unless authorized by Silver Palms. Name signs and site numbers only are permissible.
SPEED LIMIT
The speed limit in the entire resort is 11 mph. Please observe this for safety reasons.
PRIVACY AND PROPERTY
It is important to respect our neighbor's privacy and property. Please keep radios, stereos, and TV's turned low. TV reception devices are limited to 24" saucer shaped antennas. These units are to be mounted on the rear of the unit, at or above roof height. QUIET TIME IS 10 pm - 8 am.
GARBAGE
Household garbage items must be bagged and someone will pick it up Monday's, Wednesday's, and Friday's. Your trash must be set to the end of your site by 8am. No outside garbage cans are permitted. Please do not set trash out the night before.
CLOTHES LINES
No clothes lines are permitted. No outside drying of laundry is permitted. Commercial dryers are available in laundry facility.
FIREARMS AND FIREWORKS
No fireworks are permitted. All Federal and State of Florida laws concerning the possession and handling of firearms shall be obeyed.
PETS
Cats and Dogs are permitted. No aggressive dogs are allowed in the Resort. Pets cannot be outside without owners with them. Pets must be on a 6' leash and must be registered at the front office upon check-in. Owners and renters must clean up after them. Please be respectful and not let your pet wander up onto another guest's site. Pet stations are located around the resort for your convenience. Continual barking or disruption from pets will not be tolerated. Pets are not allowed in any resort buildings or recreational areas . No showering pets in the bathhouses. NO PET FENCES OR PENS ARE ALLOWED
ALLIGATORS
*If you see, an alligator on the property *DO NOT feed or approach the animal. Notify the office immediately
LAKE AREAS
For your safety, no swimming is permitted in the lakes. Silver Palms has NO liability in the lake areas. Fishing is catch and release only.
PUBLIC AREAS
Public areas must be kept clean by those who use them. Profanity is not permitted in public areas. No drunkenness and/or disorderly conduct will be permitted; any guests are the responsibility of the resident. Any damage caused by any guest will be charged to the resident. Shirts, shoes, and a bathing suit cover up must be worn in all public buildings.
SEWER HOSES
All sewer hoses must have a rubber collar.
PARKING
Please do not park in the streets. Guest parking areas are provided. To avoid paying for another site, please do not park on adjacent lots. Guests MUST park at the clubhouse or on your lot. No more than 2 vehicles on any lot.
CHILDREN
Silver Palms RV Resort is an adult community. When you have children or grandchildren visiting, they should be supervised at all times. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a site owner (or tenant) when utilizing any of the buildings, amenities or common areas and are not allowed to drive any golf carts or use the billiard room or fitness equipment. Children riding a bike or scooter must be with a site owner or tenant. Children at the swimming pool are to be supervised. If the children are in the pool the adult must be in the pool with them. No children are permitted in the spa.
TREES
No cutting or trimming of trees. Please notify the office if there are any problems with limbs or dead palm fronds on your lot.
SWIMMING POOL
This is an UNATTENDED POOL and Silver Palms assumes no liability for accidents or injuries. Children are to be accompanied by a resident or registered adult at all times. Children in diapers must wear swim diapers in pool. Pool hours are sunup to sundown. Glass containers are NOT allowed in the Pool/Spa area. Please abide by all posted Pool and Spa rules and swim safely. No children are permitted in the spa.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Excessive drinking and/or disorderly conduct will not be permitted in any building or public area.
RULES ENFORCEMENT
The owner and resort management of Silver Palms, reserve the right to make and enforce any rules deemed necessary for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of the tenants and for the preservation of the property. Silver Palms reserves the right to make any changes to the resort or property at any time.
RATES
All rates are based on no more than 2 people per site.
REFUNDS
No refunds for early departure.
BICYCLES
All bikes must be equipped with proper lighting for night use.

NO VANS, TRUCKS, POP-UP CAMPERS OR TENTS ALLOWED
All RV's are subject to approval by Silver Palms Management. Only commercially manufactured motor homes, fifth wheels, travel trailers that are in good condition and require full hook ups will be accepted. No tents or EZ up type tents are allowed.
DEBRIS REMOVAL
Renter shall be responsible for cleanup of all debris and return the lot to its' original condition.
SILVER PALMS
Is not responsible for any personal injuries, damage, loss, or theft of any personal property or vehicles.
INDEMNIFICATION
Renters agree to indemnify and hold SILVER PALMS RV RESORT and such companies' members, managers, officers and agents harmless from and against all liability, losses, claims and damages or lawsuits including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of, or in any way connected to, personal injury or damage to or on Residents property.
FLAGS AND POLES
One flagpole per lot is allowed. Flagpoles are restricted to 16' in height. No offensive flags may be flown.
FIRE PITS/CAMPFIRES
No wood burning campfires or fire pits are allowed. Above ground fire pits that burn propane or gel type fuels are permitted.
WILDLIFE PRESERVE
The wildlife preserve is a protected area . DO NOT allow any pets into the area and stay out of the area and behind the ropes.
NON-SMOKING RESORT
NO smoking in or around any of the public buildings or the swimming pool or hot tub. Smoking is permitted at your lot and in your RV. All butts MUST be placed in an ashtray.
STORAGE OF TRAILERS OR BOATS
We do not allow trailers or boats on the sites. If we have, storage available we can store it, if not you will have to find storage for it.
WATER METERS
Please be aware that a water meter is located in the ground at the front of your lot. Be cautious when moving your RV not to damage or run over the meter. A $250.00 fee will be charged to your credit card if you damage a meter, phone or electric pedestal. A Silver Palms employee will assist you with parking or pulling off your lot if needed. Please call the front desk for assistance.
SCREEN ROOMS
No screened rooms of any type are allowed attached or separate from any unit. No tents, pop-up or canopy's allowed. Approved pet fences only.
