From October 2023 to March 2024, our "Taste of Sunland" series will transport you to a tropical paradise filled with tantalizing culinary surprises.
Initially launched during the pandemic with "Tiny Kitchen, Big Flavor," we're thrilled to bring this program to life for our guests. Prepare for a feast for all five senses at Sunland RV Resorts!
Meet the Chefs
Chef Jorge Villabona
Jorge Villabona is a renowned chef and Sunland's Corporate Chef. Prior to joining Sunland, he co-owned and was the chef de cuisine at Shame on The Moon restaurant in Southern California, which received the "Restaurant of The Year" award for seven consecutive years. He also served as executive sous chef at Wally's Desert Turtle, where U.S. presidents and Hollywood's elite have dined for over 40 years. Villabona's culinary skills were honed at the legendary Hotel de Paris in Monte-Carlo, France, which is home to several Michelin-rated restaurants. He first learned how to cook from his mother and grandmother while growing up on his family's ranch in Bogato, Columbia.

Tiny kitchen big flavor series
"Tiny Kitchen, Big Flavor" onsite cooking demonstrations by popular chefs who will prepare big bold dishes that can be replicated in the space of an RV or motorhome. Chefs and guests can mix, mingle and sample the featured items during a reception following the demonstration.

Farm to fork with wine pairing series
Southern California's Golden Village Palms, will showcase the bounty of its own chef's garden as well as ingredients from local farmers and purveyors at a Farm to Fork dinner.
